Nearly Wordless Wednesday

This toy didn’t make it home intact.

Buddy loves to get new toys. He checks all bags brought into the car (because of course he runs errands with me). Holds the toy in his mouth the entire way home, and then once home, he sits on my lap and destroys the toy by getting that nasty squeaker out of with innards. Recently, this one didn’t make it home.

Inktober

NOT by me.

Are you taking the Inktober challenge?? As the website explains, “Jake Parker created Inktober in 2009 as a challenge to improve his inking skills and develop positive drawing habits. It has since grown into a worldwide endeavor with thousands of artists taking on the challenge every year.”

I have always wanted to be able to draw well. So last year, I participated in Inktober as a way to practice. If I wouldn’t have moved since then, I’d share my work. (I can’t find it.)

I do have some ink I love. About nine months ago, I got this new tattoo. I love that it is a little cockeyed; it’s just black ink; and it’s visible with everything I do.

So whatever ink you are into this October, make it something you’ll love.
