One thing we can do better

When you are done with your prescription, what do you do with the bottle? Resized_20180510_073607_001

I used to give them to my son-in-law because he used the bottles to store things in but then he didn’t need any more.

So the last time I had an empty bottle, I decided to take it back to the pharmacy that had dispensed the medicine. I slid the empty bottle in through the drive-thru window.

white-coated 20 year old: “What do you want me to do with this?”

me: “I want you to re-use it.”

white-coated 20 year old: “I’ll throw it away for you.”

me:

white-coated 20 year old: “In the recycle bin. We recycle.”

Really? We can do better than this.
